Lal is the founder of Decarb LCA Inc. Lal has over eighteen years of experience as a
GHG accounting practitioner which has supported businesses and governments to
achieve their commitment to meeting compliance, regulatory reporting and reduce GHG
emissions. His strong background in environmental engineering and resource
management allows him to provide GHG inventory development, Scopes 1, 2 and 3
GHG assessments, and decarbonization services to governments and businesses.
Lal is a certified environmental product declarations (EPD) verifier with CSA Group. With
his extensive experience in LCA and administering EPD programs, Lal has developed
product category rules (PCRs) for manufacturers to communicate product carbon
footprints and environmental footprints. Bringing strong communication skills with
stakeholders has assisted when preparing emissions data management and developing
reporting tools, making recommendations, and successfully resolving contentious
situations.
